I’m going to be sharing more information, exercises and training tips on how to use your TRX – so if you’re new to it, let’s start at the very beginning- here’s a few facts to get your fitness vibes flowing
TRX stands for Total Body Resistance Exercise.
This bodyweight resistance workout uses straps to ‘suspend’ your body with handles for either your feet or hands.
It originates from military Navy Seals who used similar systems for their own fitness training in limited space…
HOW CAN IT BENEFIT YOU?
Anyone can use it, from complete beginner to elite athletes.
Its small and portable! Take it on holiday, anchor to a door or round a tree – no need to ever miss your workout
It uses ALL of the core ALL of the time.
Use it to enhance your mobility.
It’s a great piece of pulling kit- to really work on back & glute strength.
Use it to do unilateral movements – focussing on 1 arm or leg to work on strength and balance
